The City of San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department is spreading holiday cheer with fun activities for the whole family throughout December!

SANTA’S VILLAGE BY THE SEA

The City of San Clemente Recreation Division and the Downtown Business Association “Puttin’ on the Glitz” proudly present “Santa’s Village by the Sea” on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 4-9 p.m. located on Avenida Del Mar and at the Community Center (100 N. Calle Seville).  Enjoy shopping on Del Mar until 9:00 p.m., our annual tree lighting ceremony at 5:00 p.m., iconic snow hill, visits with Santa and more!  Visit san-clemente.org/events for more details.

New this year! Join us in the Hops and Holly Lounge in the newly remodeled outdoor space at the Community Center sponsored by Artifex Brewing and Sundrop Vintage!  Proceeds from food and drink sales will support the Friends of San Clemente Foundation. Come check it out!  

 Feel free to attend this event and visit with Santa for free; however, wristbands are required to sled down the snow hill and participate in games and activities in the Community Center. Activities and games will include holiday crafts, cookie decorating, face paint, ski ball, miniature golf, pop-a-shot and more! All those who purchase a wristband will receive a hot chocolate! Wristband sales will be available for holiday activities at the Community Center. Pre-sale wristbands will be available for purchase for $9 for residents and $12 for non-residents.  Wristbands on the day of the event will be $12 for residents and $15 for non-residents.

SUNSETS WITH SANTA

Santa Clause is coming to the pier!  Join us on Sunday, December 15th and Sunday, December 22nd for Sunsets with Santa.  Enjoy a walk down the beautifully decorated pier and visit with Santa for free. Follow the holiday lights to the spectacular 18-foot-tall holiday tree at the end of the pier and you’ll find Mr. Clause there! 

Santa will be visiting with children from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Bring your cameras and take photos with Santa in front of the holiday tree with the San Clemente sunset in the background! This event is open to the public and free to participate. 

“LETTERS TO SANTA” MAIL-IN ACTIVITY 

            Looking to contact Jolly Old Saint Nicholas with any special Christmas requests? Your children are invited to write a Letter to Santa and get a return letter from the North Pole!  Drop off your letters at the Community Center or send your letters by mail with a return address envelope.  Letters should be mailed to “Santa” c/o City of San Clemente, at 100 N. Calle Seville, San Clemente, CA 92672. Letters must be mailed between December 1-19 to ensure a prompt response from Mr. Claus and his elves.
