Upon visiting the new high-end women’s clothing store at 209 Avenida Del Mar, a customer commented that it’s like entering a boutique in St. Tropez, Milan, or Paris.

At the entrance one might find a hand-painted 100% natural silk wrap, from Barcelona, in vibrant colors of turquoise, purple, hot pink, emerald, and rust topped with a handmade broach. Nicole Pascale, the namesake owner, says these bright-colored wraps are reversible presenting a more subtle design on the other side.

Fittingly, an artist who came into the store admired the above-mentioned item as a work of art. “These clothes are for women who want to have fun and have the confidence to be noticed,” says Nicole. For instance, against one wall there’s a variety of colorful hand tie-dyed silk scarves or kimonos in short or long lengths. These can be worn over a black dress or pants for a woman’s much-needed holiday attire.

Blessed with the clothing-designer gene at a young age, Nicole started her business at 18 when she made one dress in her living room and showed it to Saks Fifth Avenue on Wilshire in Los Angeles. Saks gave her a huge order and that’s when her career began. She built the business with her own designs in showrooms in every big city across the country. Five years ago, she sold everything except the Palm Desert store, which is a clothing store year-round, and magically turns into a Christmas wonderland during the holidays where the design team decorates homes and businesses.

For five years, Nicole has been a regular San Clemente visitor. She loves the desert, but especially loves the beach in the summers. At the end of July, she was having lunch at El Ranchito with a friend, who spotted a store for lease across the street. That’s when it hit her that she could open a great high-end women’s clothing store. Not a conservative women’s store-much more fun–not too serious. “I’ve been doing this all my life,” she said. “So here we are and here I am.”

At Nicole’s you will receive personalized service to help you choose your ensemble or if you just want to browse, you will be able to “surf” her store to your heart’s content. Come to the boutique for fall hats, fall jackets, fall colors, blingy jewelry, and WOW beaded bags, hobo-boho pants and shirts, two-piece silk skirts and tops, and much more.

“We’re a one-stop-shop for women unless you want golf clothes,” says Nicole.
Nicole’s collection pour elle is a must for fun-loving women, who want to be seen.
