Based in the heart of San Clemente, Immersion Therapy opened on July 1, 2024, at 439 N. El Camino, Suite D. This health and wellness studio is facilitated by a passionate team of breathwork facilitators, fitness experts and health advisors devoted to temperature therapy. With a deep respect for age-old healing practices, the team is committed to taking everyone on a memorable and immersive therapeutic experience.
Jordan Jaeckel, a dedicated fitness expert and wellness coach, graduated from San Clemente High School. She excelled in cross-country running and team sports throughout her educational career. Post college, Jordan turned her love for fitness into becoming a certified personal trainer and group instructor. She found relief in cold plunging and sauna exposure as go-to forms of therapy and is an advocate for turning inwards to reach a state of mind-body longevity for personal wellbeing.
Keith Colon, originally from Chicago, is a well-rounded athlete and biohacker. With an extensive background in hockey, wrestling, and mixed martial arts, Keith has always moved his body in extraordinary ways. The hot-cold temperature combination has aided Keith tremendously with inflammation and built-up stress, making the therapies extremely compatible for his long-term health.
Shane Vogelgesand is a San Clemente native and avid surfer. Also, a San Clemente High School graduate, he enjoys waking up to do a frosty plunge followed by a warming sauna session as his ultimate morning meditation. He and his father own Top Quality Roofing. Shane is married to Cheyenne, and they have a one-year-old son, Luke.
The hot-cold process for the open-minded is a three-minute cold plunge holistic dip and a 20-minute sauna three times a week. Only 30 minutes is necessary to achieve full benefits. According to Jordan, some Immersion Therapy users come on lunch breaks for an energy boost. A full red light therapy panel is a new addition to the routine. This therapy equipment increases collagen production, heals burns and scars, and is good for nails, skin, and hair.
“There is beauty in approaching negative stress with a positive mindset. This way, we can reap the rewards when doing challenging things with trust, patience, simplicity, respect,” says Jordan.
Benefits of Contrast Therapy include, mood elevation, reduced stress, improved sleep quality, enhancement of detoxification, boosting of serotonin/dopamine, accelerates muscle recovery, increases circulation and metabolism, improves cognitive function, and reduces inflammation.
