How I Sea It, by Arlis Jones

The sun winks it's good-bye
In a pink ocean sky.
The waves loudly whisper
Their sounds so familiar,
A tidal percussion
Of in and out motion,
And the breeze delivers
Some goose bumps and shivers.
I've been kissed by the sun,
But my blushings not done,
For my mind and my body
Drifted far as could be.
From the sweet place I laid
On that sunny beach day.
Was I here? Was I there
Only heaven knows where.
It's no secret to me
I was loved by the sea
And it's as deep as can be
In my memories.
