Summer Eco Camp
Design, Build, Sew Camp: Ages 10-12
In this 4-day experience, campers will develop leadership abilities and build confidence as well as artistic skills in a positive eco-environment. Through hands-on projects connected to our 5 core areas of Food, Water, Waste, Energy, and Shelter, campers will learn creative ways to engage with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Sample activities include natural dyeing, sewing bags, building herb boxes, cyanotype printing, harvesting, and preparing nourishing and delicious meals.
Taking place on a 1-acre teaching facility nestled next to a 28-acre organic farm, campers will have a unparalleled view of the farm process and what it means to grow from seed-to-harvest!
Camps will be hosted Tuesday though Friday, 9am-2pm at The Ecology Center. To ensure an intimate experience, sessions are limited to 10-12 campers.
