Cast-Iron and Campfire Cooking Class

Don't limit yourself to packaged and processed foods just because you're away from your home kitchen. Join us to learn how to menu plan and pack for your next camping trip.

Our Farm to Fork series of cooking classes teaches you how to prepare dishes using seasonal produce you would find at your local farmer's market or growing in your backyard! We'll begin with a sensory exploration of The Ecology Center's orchard, veggie and herb gardens, and end with the preparation and enjoyment of a meal. In this Farm to Fork, get back to nature, with cooking over a campfire! The Ecology Center is a non-profit educational center that teaches hands-on environmental solutions at the household and community scale. Your participation supports our programs and our mission to inspire and create a healthy and sustainable future for all. Tickets available on our website are $45 for members and $55 for non-members. The proceeds support our non-profit eco-educational programs. *Become an Advocate of The Ecology Center to receive member discounts. Plus, after you complete 5 workshops and 5 eco actions, you are eligible to receive 1 free workshop! Join Us
