20 Feet From Stardom (2013) is a documentary about the lives of back-up singers for the music industry’s greatest stars. The film, which includes archival footage from artist such as David Bowie and Michael Jackson, and which includes interviews with famous musicians from Mick Jagger to Bette Midler, won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
