Sera Adkins, the creative mind behind Meloeda Nails, has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Her journey as a business owner began in high school when, with the support of her sisters and mother, she launched a successful cupcake venture called Sera's Sweets. Family and community hold a special place in her heart, as evidenced by her 13-year involvement with the Girl Scouts.

Sera's life has been infused with the arts, including dance, music, acting, and painting. Her passion for dance started at the tender age of 5 and continued through high school. She delights in entertaining others with her piano skills. Additionally, Sera has lent her talents to numerous movies, TV shows, and commercials. She pursued her love for the visual arts by studying art and art history, even taking up oil painting at April Joys Art Studio.

 

Her wanderlust led her to explore the artistic landscapes of Paris, Italy, Japan, and South Korea. When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted her plans to study abroad in South Korea, Sera quickly adapted. She decided to enroll in an advanced manicuring program, totaling 600 hours of training. This, coupled with her extensive background in the arts, proved to be the perfect foundation for her new dream: opening her own nail salon.

Meloedia Nail Salon specializes in Gel and Gel X manicures. Gel X, short for Gel X extensions, is a soft gel-based nail extension method that has gained popularity as an acrylic alternative. Sera is deeply committed to product knowledge and exclusively employs high-quality, clean-formulated products, primarily sourced from South Korea. She is also licensed in E-filing manicures, also known as dry manicures or Russian manicures.
