The first building in San Clemente,
the one that once housed the office
of Ole Hanson himself, at
Ave. Del Mar and El Camino Real
has been restored to its original 1926 design.

The old Apple Market (below) at the corner of N. El Camino Real
& Ave. Mariposa (once Albertson’s in the ‘80s) is
waiting to be demolished to make way for a Spanish-style structure
that will be home to a new ‘Sav-on’.

and a clear sunny day as 30,000 people enjoyed the festivities and

After vast remodeling the Pizza Port (above), a new beer brewery
and pizza palace, opened in July in the former Johnny James Restaurant
(originally El Coyote) on N. El Camino Real near downtown. |
