Experience a hands-on cooking class and learn how to harvest fennel pollen and seeds, cure grape leaves, and make six different summer season dishes!

Our Farm to Fork adult series of cooking classes teaches you how to prepare dishes using seasonal produce you would find at your local farmer's market or growing in your backyard! We'll begin with a sensory exploration of The Ecology Center's orchard, veggie and herb gardens, and end with the preparation and enjoyment of a meal. Join Us in this hands on cooking class to learn how to harvest fennel pollen and seeds, cure grape leaves, and make the following summer season dishes: Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca Cherry and Apricot Mostarda Zucchini Noodles with Basil Pesto Corn Fritters with Cucumber Relish Chard and Grape Leaf Dolmas en Papillote Peach Lavender & Honey Ice Cream The Ecology Center is a non-profit educational center that teaches hands-on environmental solutions at the household and community scale.
