This studio workshop time consist s of a three hour session with a costumed model; one long pose each session. Sessions are open to painting and drawing; painters please use Gamsol. This studio is monitored but no formal instruction will be given during the working time. Bruce will be available during the breaks for discussing works if desired. About the Instructor I received my art degree from California State University Long Beach. During this last decade I have continually sought instruction and information to enhance my art education. I've attended classes from most of the local colleges as well as Watts Atelier and done workshops with Scott Moore, Cynthia Grilli and Steve Huston. I continue working primarily with the human form. Rather than overwhelm a viewer with detail I feel that visual poetry is best expressed thru a selective elegant simplification of reality. The objective is to translate visual excitement through the expressive use of paint.
