Sweet and Savory Honey Cooking Class

Celebrate spring with a menu using local honey!

Our Farm to Fork adult series of cooking classes teaches you how to prepare dishes using seasonal produce you would find at your local farmer's market or growing in your backyard! We'll begin with a sensory exploration of The Ecology Center's orchard, veggie and herb gardens, and end with the preparation and enjoyment of a meal. In this Farm to Fork, we'll taste different single varietal honeys, learn about the unique characteristics of each nectar source, harvest ingredients from the garden, review recipes, and make a variety of dishes highlighting our key ingredient: honey. Join Class We'll be making: Spiced Honey Iced Tea Charred Jalapeno Honey Butter Honey Lemon Avocado Dressing Honey Roasted Tomato Tartine Fried Goat Cheese with Honey and Herbs The Ecology Center is a non-profit educational center that teaches hands-on environmental solutions at the household and community scale. Your participation supports our programs and our mission to inspire and create a healthy and sustainable future for all. Tickets available on our website are $45 for members and $55 for non-members.
