On Friday Sept. 12, at 6:00 PM, the San Clemente Watershed Task Force presents its annual live action in partnership with the San Clemente Art Association in the San Clemente Art Gallery at 100 N. Seville (entrance is on Del Mar). Mayor Tim Brown will be the auctioneer for such items as Oakley Sunglasses, an Apple I-Pod, a bi-plane ride in a vintage Stearman airplane, paintings, pottery, photographs and more by San Clemente artists. The Watershed Task Force stages the annual Earth Day San Clemente event at the Pier Bowl and organizes community beach clean-ups with groups, churches, businesses and more.
