Waymakers, a nonprofit organization that builds safer communities by helping individuals make their way through conflict and crisis to a place of strength and stability, will host the Way2Go! Virtual 5K on October 24 and 25. The funds raised during the event will benefit Waymakers’ programs and essential services available during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants can enjoy the 5K anywhere, at any time, between October 24 and 25. Individuals can choose to run, walk, ride, roll or simply join a team and cheer on their family and friends from the comfort of their home. Individuals registration is $29 or a group of four can participate for $79. Participants will be encouraged to share their 5K photos on social media with specialized hashtags (#Way2GoOC, #WaymakersOC).
