Culture Shock Los Angeles makes hip hop dance exciting and entertaining. As a leading West Coast hip hop dance troupe, Culture Shock LA redefines the genre with its imaginative choreography and community spirit. Culture Shock's performances on NBC's World of Dance have been seen by an audience of millions. They have also performed on MTV, ESPN, and court-side at numerous NBA games. Most recently, they performed in Orange County at VIBE, the most prestigious urban dance competition in the world. Culture Shock's Los Angeles-based dancers can be seen in music videos and on tour with Jennifer Lopez, Missy Elliot, Lorde, and The Kingaz, among others. Commissioned by Casa Romantica to create a site-specific performance, Culture Shock LA will inspire diverse audiences with upbeat choreography inspired by the classic Dr. Seuss book, Oh, The Places You'll Go. The performance will take place in Casa Romantica's historic courtyard, with guests seated 'in the round.' Tickets are $30 ($25 for Casa members). A limited number of $1 tickets are available for children ages 6-16. All tickets must be purchased in advance.
