MOMS Orange County, a nonprofit dedicated to helping at-risk mothers and their families have healthy babies, will host its annual “Healthy Beginnings, Bright Futures” fundraising luncheon on May 10, 2018 at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel in Anaheim. The luncheon will honor MOMS Orange County’s “Mother of the Year” and feature experts on adverse childhood experiences, the effects of these experiences on children and mothers, and share proven strategies to build resilience.

Event proceeds will enable MOMS Orange County to sustain its critical work in supporting women and their families at one of the most crucial times in their lives — when they take on the enormous responsibilities and challenges of motherhood. MOMS Orange County serves more than 3,200 low-income families annually, directly influencing improvements in birth outcomes, maternal health, and developmental indicators among infants within a highly disadvantaged population.
