Take a deep dive into the important work of building relationships with students through the tools of energetic and hands-on assists. Join Maggie Gelineau to explore the ethics of adjustments and assists in the classroom. Teachers will be guided through a participatory lecture/discussion, looking at and clarifying techniques and tools used to teach and encourage students, including a deep discussion surrounding the teacher student connection. These principals and techniques will then be applied in the hands-on segment, designed to teach and encourage mindful and intelligent hands on assists and adjustments. Show up receptive and willing to work hard and play hard. This workshop is designed for yoga teachers.
