A Walk At Dusk
by Robyn Stewart

I took a long walk around our town.
I found a sweetness that abounds.

A darling little Spanish Home built years ago,
still lovingly treasured by a light’s inside glow.

So thankful, this day, to live in our town,
built by the sea, by a man who dreamed proud.

The ocean is vast, and expanse so great,
It gives my soul hope, a place to escape.

No barriers, you see, no fences, no gates
Just endless colors of my life’s sacred place.

Wrote this poem down after a late lunch at Nicks with my husband.
